Machine Operator

Machine Operators prepare newspapers, preprints and other related materials for delivery to substations or the Post Office. Tasks such as counting, stacking, wrapping, labeling, tying, inserting and moving skids of paper, are performed.

 

 

 

 

Shift Information:

  • Machine Operators are generally scheduled to work three to four 7.5 hour shifts per week; however, hours fluctuate based on business needs.
  • Day shift hours are 7:30 am – 3:30 pm (including weekends) and night shift hours are 8:30 pm – 4:30 am (including weekends).  Occasional mid-shifts (3:30 pm to 8:30 pm) are scheduled based on business needs.

Telemarketing RepresentativeTelemarketing Representative

Telemarketing representatives are responsible for providing outbound telemarketing support to the circulation department including selling newspaper subscriptions and other company products and special telemarketing project work. The compensation for this position is base pay, plus commission (so you get to decide how much your paycheck will be!).

 

Shift Information:

  • Telemarketers are generally scheduled to work three 6.5 hour shifts per week; however, hours fluctuate based on business needs.
  • There are two shifts, a day shift from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, and a night shift 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm
